What are cookies?
Cookies (and similar browser storage) are small pieces of information a website saves in your browser, so it can remember things — like what is in your cart — between pages and visits.
What we use
EssentialAlways on
- Cart — remembers the products in your cart (stored in your browser).
- Language — remembers English or Somali.
- Light / dark mode — remembers your choice.
- Cookie choice — remembers your answer to the cookie notice.
- Staff login — keeps Sombags staff signed in to the admin area.
Visitor statisticsOnly if you accept
If we turn on visitor statistics, they count visits and popular pages so we can improve the website. They do not tell us who you are.
AdvertisingNot used
We do not use advertising cookies or follow you on other websites.
Your choices
On your first visit a notice lets you accept all or keep essential only. Change your mind any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings — if you block essential cookies, your cart may not work.
Read our Privacy policy to learn how we handle personal information.
